Job Overview:

The Side Work Attendant is responsible for ensuring the restaurant is set up according to company procedures. Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to folding napkins, refilling salt and pepper shakers, polishing glassware and silverware, properly folding and storing linens.

Direct: F&B Managers & General Managers

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

·         Ensures cleanliness of the F&B outlets listed above, the outlet-specific private dining spaces, and each outlet’s corresponding storage areas.

·         Work closely with management team to assess and achieve the daily needs of each outlet and meet the necessary pars for the individual services. This will include but is not limited to:

o   Napkin folds – specific design determined by the outlet, store properly in each outlet

o   Refill salt and pepper shakers Polish and stock glassware

o   Polish and stock silverware

o   Ensure linen is retrieved and stored properly for each outlet

o   Retrieve candles, store properly and load votive for each F&B outlet

o   Condiment set-up for In-Room Dining and the individual outlets

·         Overall coordination of day to day outlet needs for service opening, service transitions, and service closing

·         Weekly report of CGS inventory needs

·         Immediately report maintenance issues identified within the working spaces to F&B management within the relevant outlet




·         Physical:

o   Able to work standing for a minimum period of 8 hours a day

o   Periodical bending, kneeling, and stretching

o   Able to pull, push, carry and lift at least 40 pounds of force

o   Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands

·         Comprehension: Fluent in the English language

·         Understanding: Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions according to established procedures

•     Organizational Skills: Work efficiently, utilize multi-tasking, and prioritize tasks

•     Hygiene and Sanitation: Adherence to uniform, grooming and personal hygiene standards and expectations per Standard, High Line operating procedures

•     Punctuality: Adherence to posted schedule and arrival time and attendance at mandatory meetings Responsibility: Personal comportment in line with Standard, High Line policies, standards, and expectations

•     Strong communication, organization, and time management skills

•     Ability to take initiative and work independently

•     Have an outgoing, upbeat personality and positive attitude

•     Handle working in a high energy and fast paced environment
