The Writing on the Wall

Scribbling hearts, initials, phone numbers and penises (peni?) on bathroom walls is a long and not particularly noble tradition, but patrons of The Living Room lounge at The Standard, High Line have taken things to a whole 'nother level. Egged on by Geoff McFetridge's cheeky wallpaper, the graffiti in and around the first-floor restrooms addresses a broad range of topics, from politics and self-help, to music, sports, culture, etiquette, love, sex and politics.
