LYC Trio  
LYC trio is comprised of Chris Egan (drums), Leon Boykins (bass) and Yosef Munro (piano). They're light and easygoing, and as likely to play Black Sabbath as they are to play Duke Ellington or Madonna.

The Smoke Rings evoke the elegance and charm of the swing era. Anchored by the unique vocals of Sarah King, the group specializes in songs from The Great American Song Book. The Smoke Rings have played to huge crowds at festivals and for the past six years, the band has been performing weekly at Top of The Standard.

David Bryant Duo
New York pianist, composer and multi-instrumentalist David Bryant is a world-class artist who combines his extensive knowledge of the jazz tradition and other diverse musical idioms with an individualistic approach and sound. He has recently recorded projects with Steve Davis, Myron Walden, and Abraham Burton and is currently recording and performing various projects of his own.

Yacine Boulares Quartet
Yacine Boulares is a French-Tunisian saxophonist, clarinetist, and composer based in New York. After studying at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, he soon understood the necessity to get to the roots of jazz, and in 2009 he was granted a Fulbright Scholarship to study at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. In New York, Yacine got to learn from the likes of Chris Cheek, Donny McCaslin and Reggie Workman, but was also exposed to a myriad of new music genres. Soon he became part of ex Fela Kuti drummer Jojo Kuo's Afrobeat Collective, late Cameroonian singer Martino Atangana's African Blue Note, and Tabou Combo.

Carolina Calvache Trio
Pianist Carolina Calvache is the first Colombian to be part of the roster of recording musicians from the prestigious New York music label, Sunny Side Records. In 2011 she was selected to take part in the Mary Lou Williams Woman in Jazz Festival and released her debut album, Sotareño, in 2014.

Mariella

Mariella is a soulful vocalist and mainstay of the New York City circuit. Her masterful songwriting has earned her accolades worldwide, including being named Billboard World Songwriting Contest's Grand Prize Winner in 2008, and a John Lennon Songwriting Contest Honorable Mention. She is also the co-creator and co-host of one of NYC’s longest-running and most critically acclaimed hip-hop jam session, Freestyle Mondays.

Jordan Piper Duo

Jordan Piper’s mature sound and what Star Ledger calls a “melodically-rich soloing” sets him apart as a pianist and composer. He is at home in many styles of music, drawing his repertoire from standards of the American songbook and the jazz tradition. As part of the vibrant music scene in the NYC area, Jordan has performed at many well-known jazz clubs, including the Blue Note, Iridium, Smoke, Smalls, and more.

Sweet Megg & The Wayfarers

Sweet Megg & The Wayfarers seamlessly incorporate elements of Dixieland, Harlem swing, Parisian cabaret, and gut-bucket-blues into one charming musical performance. Saxophonist Ryan Weisheit reimagines a world where Sidney Bechet, Lester Young, and Charlie Parker blow side-by-side. Together Sweet Megg, Ryan, and all The Wayfarers create a world where jazz is alive and living in New York.

James Weidman's Aperturistic Trio 
James Weidman is known as one of the most versatile pianists in the world of music. He has performed with the likes of Abbey Lincoln and Joe Lovano, and plays classical and atonal music. With a player as talented as Weidman, it's no wonder the press used terms such as "unfailingly lyrical," "convivially assertive," and "exquisite" to describe him.

Monday, September 24th
Ryan Weisheit Trio
NYC-based saxophonist and clarinetist Ryan Weisheit began studying saxophone at the age of ten. He studied with the legendary alto saxophonist and educator Bunky Green at the University of North Florida, where he was able to perform with some of the greatest living jazz musicians, including Dave Brubeck, Slide Hampton, Kenny Garrett, and many more. In 2017 he joined the St. Louis-based Americana band, Pokey LaFarge. He also has his own 1920s and 30s swing band, Sweet Megg & The Wayfarers.

Kelly Green Duo
Kelly Green is an up-and-coming jazz pianist and vocalist who currently resides in Harlem, New York City. Born and raised in Florida, she started piano lessons at age seven and began attending the Jamey Aebersold Jazz Workshop at eleven years young with her father, who is a professional bass player. Kelly has performed at notable clubs and venues such as Blue Note, Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola, Apollo Theater, Minton's, and Smalls Jazz Club. She recorded her debut jazz album, Life Rearranged, in 2016.

Thursday, September 27th
Takuya Nakamura Group
Takuya Nakamura was born in Japan and moved to New York in the 90s. A multi-instrumentist, composer, and producer, he is considered a pioneer of the sci-fi du noir genre, which is a mix of lo-fi, jazz analog, and space techno. He has collaborated with musicians like Coco Rosie, The Brooklyn Gypsies GZA of Wu-Tang Clan, David Byrne, Laurie Anderson, Quincy Jones, and many more.

Saturday, September 29th
David Gibson Quartet
Trombonist David Gibson has enjoyed a varied music career that is deeply rooted in the genres of jazz and funk. While reared in Oklahoma, Gibson’s musical journey steered him to New York City. Jazz luminary Curtis Fuller once said about Gibson: “Out of all the young players I hear in music today, David is one of the very few who speaks the language of jazz.”
