Party Patrol: When Brussels Met PaperBoy

PaperBoy Paris turned Double Standard into a crossover of food, fashion and community-spirit.
Paperboy – the cult Parisian café making waves back home with its Japanese-inspired stacked sandwiches – has finally landed at The Standard, Brussels, and let's just say, subtlety wasn't an option.

The weekend started exactly how it should – a packed room with all the right people. Friday night, Double Standard switched from lunch spot to the place to be, with the infectious rhythms of Rinse FM powering the sound system. Nico Bellagio got the crowd moving with a special 80s set that has us nostalgic and struggling to stand still. And when Marvy the Pimp (the name says it all) dropped Sean Paul's Temperature the party showed no signs of slowing down.

The crowd? London, Paris and Amsterdam all converged on Brussels. Faces like Cynthia BolingoElba Van Den HeuveChristophe Juville with his daughter Lili Jane Juville in town, Mickael CarliEmmanuel Lawal and Vanessa White joined the celebration. Drinks were flowing, Paperboy's famous sandwiches were flying out, and The Standard, Brussels proved once again why it's the only answer to "Where are you hanging out this weekend?"

Sunday shifted gears without losing any momentum. Cadence, a local running crew, took our community to the streets, tracing out a route from the Northern Quarter to the Centre, and back. The reward was a finish line marked by Paperboy's mouthwatering sandwiches and an unshakeable sense that the weekend had found its perfect spot.
It was a weekend filled with downtown vibes and mouth-watering bites. PaperBoy has landed, and Brussels won’t look quite the same for the next few weeks.
