Florence + The Machine Sing Stan D'Arde A Love Song

I don't know what it is with all my superstar friends wanting to come visit me this week! Beyoncé and Terry Richardson swung by for their Bazaar shoot, you'll remember, and last night, Florence & The Machine descended upon the Top of The Standard to celebrate Florence's October cover of Interview Magazine. Not only did they descend upon the room, but they got on stage and sang me a song. Actually, Florence sang me five songs from her new album for the very first time. That's just the way Stan D'oes.

When she wasn't drinking what she kept saying were VIRGIN martinis...(I WOULD DIE!)...she was entrancing the crowd with wailing notes that only Florence could create. Everyone came out to see her including Kanye West, Richard Chai, Emma Roberts, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Interview's own Peter Brant and Fabien Baron, Brad Goreski and Maxwell.

The best part of the evening was not Florence's ballads nor was it the hug from Kanye nor was it the dance off I had with Brad Goreski where I left him covered in gold carpet dust. It was when Florence discreetly passed me the above love note with a wink saying thank you for letting her sing for me. Oh, it's good to be Stan.

For all the pictures from last night, check out our Gallery. And special thanks to our very own Markus Marty for the video and to Niel Rasmus from Billy Farrell Agency for all the incredible pictures, as always.

xoxo
Stan
