Q&A: Chris Corsini Cracked the Code to the Universe

Don’t worry, your ex (probably) isn’t coming back.

When The Standard, London set out to create the Zodiac Escape package, we found the perfect collaborator in Chris Corsini—artist, psychic and intuitive tarot reader whose "freakishly accurate" readings have made him a go-to for A-list celebs and the astrologically curious. What Chris started as a workshop evolved into a global community dedicated to healing and transformation—drawing over 900,000 followers to Chris’s spiritual approach.

The hotel’s social energy mirrors Chris’s mission to make spiritual resources available to everyone, not just an exclusive few. Based in Lisbon, where he runs Wheelhouse—a social connection hub that reimagines co-working as a slow, immersive experience complete with salt caves and sound baths—Chris brings the same thoughtful curation to the Zodiac Escape package. Each guest receives personalized gifts, London experiences tailored to their astrological sign and access to Chris’s comprehensive forecasts and workshops.

We sat down with Chris to discuss the collab, his approach to astrology in the age of Instagram, and what makes The Standard London feel like a Leo.

Or a Libra.

Or an Aquarius.

Let’s set the table: Could you tell us a little bit about how the Zodiac Escape came together, as a concept?

A couple of the people on The Standard, London team have been following me for a while and they knew my work. I think they were already entertaining the idea of curating special experiences for people based on their zodiac sign—and they reached out to me just because I've built a platform doing that. You guys asked me to curate a list of experiences in the hotel, like a cute little basket for people that would be practical, but still funny.

Some of the gifts are quite outlandish, but it's just a cute way to have people pop in and have a personalized experience. When they pitched the idea, I thought it was super cute, so we just hopped on board.

What was your impression of The Standard before you linked up with the London team?

I had stayed there once or twice. I know that it's quite trendy. It also seems to be a place where people go to sort of break out and break away from the more uptight hotel style.

It's obviously a stylish hotel, but you don’t walk in and say, "I feel like I can't touch anything." It's well done, super cozy. They've pulled it together really well with nice design elements. I mean, the accommodations are beautiful, but it feels fun and approachable. You can exhale when you're in the space.

So I liked that energy. It just seemed fun and like the community was aligned with my followers and the stuff that we do.

And despite those really deep London connections, you live in Lisbon.

I've been here for like five years. I have a wellness space here called Wheelhouse, which is a social connection hub for people and creatives to come together. We've rebranded co-working as this slow working experience in  this really immersive space. There's a salt cave here. There's treatments. At the end of the day, you get a sound bath included in your day pass. It's fabulous.

Sounds like it. What's your sun, moon and rising?

I'm a Gemini sun, a Libra rising, and a Cancer moon.

I'm a Cancer moon too!

I have a stellium in Cancer, which is like a group of planets. So it's probably my strongest placement. But yeah, that's my top three.

The Standard, London is obviously a stylish hotel, but you don’t walk in and say, "I feel like I can't touch anything." It's well done, super cozy. They've pulled it together really well with nice design elements. I mean, the accommodations are beautiful, but it feels fun and approachable. You can exhale when you're in the space.

Do you think the Cancer moon aspect makes you a more natural astrologer—that contemplative, thoughtful, emotionally attuned quality?

Yeah, for sure that makes me more intuitive and psychic. My Mercury is in the eighth house, which is ruled by Taurus in my chart. So that's communication and being really grounded in using language that's relatable and using the senses to get people into all of that eighth house stuff—which is like esoteric wisdom and cracking the codes of the universe. Astrology and tarot and all that sort of stuff.

We swear by your 2025 forecast: have you started working on what the 2026 forecast looks like?

I haven't begun working on that because I've been doing a thousand other things, but I have all of November carved out for it. We do a tarot forecast, which is even more interesting, I find, because I sit down and I will pull a card for each month, but then understand the energetics of the year ahead and there's different numerology.

The numerology of next year is a one, which is really interesting for all of us, regardless of what sign we are. The one is about initiation, new cycles, establishing a new nine-year cycle. So this year, 2025, which is a nine, was all about closing things out. So we've probably been experiencing like struggles or frustrations or just a lot of nice lessons, hard lessons, good opportunities—opportunities to close chapters and just really wrapping things up. It's been about mastery. And next year is about initiation and progression and expansion in a new way.

Good to know.

It's been a long time coming. It's been like a nine or ten year cycle since the last one, you know?

You've spent time at the Standard London. And so, knowing the hotel, knowing the guest, knowing the vibe, if you were to assign that place to an astrological sign, what would you choose?

Because it's so loud and out there that I want to say Leo or Libra, maybe. Leo because it’s so bold. Libra because it’s quite refined and sexy and polished: that social nightlife, young creator vibe is very Libra.

But also: It’s a hotel, but The Standard did it in such a unique way, which is quite Aquarius. An Aquarius would be like, "Okay, I understand what a hotel is. Let me blow this up in a whole new way with new colors and new experiences.”

When you do the Zodiac Escape. you get a breakdown so if you're a Taurus, you should go to Decimo and try this dish—or stay in bed and order a burger. So there are different experiences in the packages that tie your zodiac sign back to an experience in the hotel for you, and that's part of your basket and your package, which is cool.

What's your favorite way to spend a free day in London and Lisbon?

If I were in London, I would probably check out some museums or hang out somewhere—ideally out of the rain. I'm really moving through a phase of “less is more” and just chilling the fuck out.

If I'm in Portugal, a day on the beach is amazing to me right now. There are so many great castles and sites to explore in Sintra, which is only 30 minutes from Lisbon. It's mystic, it's a beautiful mountain town, and it's quite witchy. And they have a little microclimate, so there's always fog around the top of the mountains.

What do you make of all the astrology content on Instagram these days? Most of us open the app and see so much, some good, some very basic.

I think it's good in the sense that everybody needs an entry point, so wherever somebody starts their journey, great, go for it. But there are creators who think it’s going to build clout if they create fear by saying, "Oh my God, Mercury's about to go retrograde and you're gonna hit a shit show and your ex is coming back" and they make it this big dramatic thing.

That shit drives me crazy and it's also untrue. So I think when they manipulate the practice into something for popularity, it becomes weird and people can usually feel where that's off. My favorite creators try to be of service and say, "This is what's happening. This is how I see it, this is how I feel it and that's my truth and I'm just going to share that."

And that resonates with millions of people. So the followers are like, "Cool, I trust you. And I feel it and I'm riding this wave with you."

You’ve also done a lot to make your platform accessible to everyone.

Everything on my website is designed to be super affordable and super accessible. Some of the things are literally donation based. You can pay whatever you want, and then the other stuff starts at a sliding scale of like $8. Everything we design is meant to be super digestible, approachable, entry level, or advanced. There’s something for everybody!

We've designed everything to also be totally affordable and approachable for everyone.
