About The Annie O Music Series

“Far above the streets where the downtown music scene first emerged sits an unlikely gem of a music incubator, twinkling on the New York skyline.” -The New York Times

Taking place in the Penthouse of The Standard, East Village, Annie O's music series plays host to intimate musical performances showcasing national and international acts against the dramatic backdrop of the New York City skyline. The series’ curator Annie Ohayon is a music industry veteran who worked with luminaries like Lou Reed, Philip Glass, Laurie Anderson, Pearl Jam, and Peter Gabriel, among many others. Ms. O brings an impeccable ear and a decisive instinct for emerging talent to curating the lineup. Past performers include: Rodriguez,  Lo-Fang, Arto Lindsay, Beau, Au Revoir Simone, Lulu Gainsbourg, Tegan & Sarah, Moby, Vicktor Taiwo, Elvis Perkins, and the Prettiots.

Annie O's live music series is free to those who RSVP. For upcoming shows, please consult the monthly lineup below. To receive information about upcoming shows, please sign up for the mailing list by emailing: AnnieO@StandardHotels.com.
