Jazz on Ten: Rosie Turton

Join us on Saturdays in December for a live music lunch at The Standard, London’s 10th-floor restaurant Decimo, curated by Church of Sound.

Usually held in a church in Clapton, Church of Sound are organisers of one of London’s finest jazz experiences, with emphasis firmly placed on the music and the people: their community is made up of musicians, music lovers, friends and family. We are excited to join forces to present a series of London’s of most exciting upcoming jazz artists.

We kick things off on Saturday 12th December with Trombone player Rosie Turton who leads her own quintet featuring some of London’s finest musicians including Twm Dylan and Jake Long from Maisha as well as Johanna Burnheart and Maria Chiara Argirò. Rosie’s musical path is defined by her unwavering desire to explore new territories: sounds, cultures, textures, and collaborations. Expect strong melodies and interlocking grooves from the quintet.

On the menu; delicious tacos, croquetas, gambas, margarita pitchers to share, and more. Please note, this booking is a lunch sitting and due to government regulations, you will be required to order food during the performance. See the menu here. Management has the right to refuse entry regardless of pre-booked tickets.

Note: there will be table-only service throughout and there will no service at the bar.

A member of the reservations team will contact you via email to confirm your time of arrival between 12pm and 2pm.

Due to Tier 2 restrictions, you must only sit with people in your household/bubble.

Should this event not go ahead for any reason your tickets will be refunded.

Face masks are now mandatory when you're not sitting down or dining in the space, so please make sure to wear yours when arriving at the venue, and only remove it once seated.

If you have a cough, fever or symptoms of COVID-19 please do not attend the event - we'll give you a full refund and ask no questions, just let us know as soon as you can.

Make sure to wash your hands frequently in accordance with Public Health guidelines (we surely will) and use available sanitizing stations.
