East Side Voices is a platform that celebrates the brightest East and Southeast Asian voices in Britain today. Founded by Helena Lee, the features director of Harper’s Bazaar magazine, East Side Voices aims to increase the number of voices in the media, in film, in the arts, in literature by bringing to the fore stories that illuminate what it is to be East and Southeast Asian, dispel the clichés and change the cultural narrative – currently so saturated with outdated stereotypes - one conversation at a time.
