About ISLA

HOTEL
Helmed by London’s own Adam Rawson, and designed by Shawn Hausman, Isla offers an approachable seasonal menu featuring light proteins and a predominantly natural wine list. Isla’s name is inspired by Britain’s island geography and is ideal for long, lounging al fresco meals in the serene garden. The outdoor space features a retractable awning, allowing guests to enjoy the summer sun or the cool shade.

What the press have to say:

"If this is what pea hummus can taste like – fresh, springlike, a little crunchy in texture – then when I take the reins of power, I shall decree that all peas be made into hummus under the instruction of the Isla chef."

"So go and feast on the veg, and go for the Iberico pork with chimichurri, if you need some flesh. It is deep and dark and wonderful."

William Sitwell, The Daily Telegraph

"Rawson is the real thing, a chef who mixes fine technique with a well-honed palate and a sharp culinary mind [...] He'll go far. Watch this space."

Tom Parker-Bowles, The Daily Mail

"The beauty is in the simplicity: a plate piled with vivid green Padron peppers, a selection of sour fermented raw vegetables with a creamy pea houmous, or simply the sourdough bread smothered with tangy cultured butter [...] Rawson has a knack for elevating a dish with an unexpected clash"

Culture Whisper

"We love the snack of rich, earthy ox ham from the snacks section and the crudité are made much more interesting by being pickled and served with a pea hummus [...] The Iberico pork chop is excellent, thinly sliced and served with an Argentinian chimichurri sauce that cuts through the meat nicely. Definitely order the potatoes with a smoked garlic miso to go alongside it."

London on the Inside

"Adam Rawson is certainly sending out some cracking dishes at Isla - with the pasta and the amazing miso potatoes coming up for particular praise [...] We'll be back to try those burgers next door and the well-priced wine list makes this a very handy place to drop into."
