About Ella:
Ella Emhoff really likes to knit. She’s been knitting since she was six years old. Turning to knitting as a coping mechanism, she started collecting yarn, building her own patterns and personal style that would then turn into work she is creating today. Made in New York, Emhoff uses a mixture of donated/sourced yarn to create larger scale “knit paintings” of self portraits and still life’s.
