Rinse: A Restorative Yoga Practice with Libbyrae Troyer
Designed to aid in the body’s natural detoxification
process, this restorative yoga practice will gently rinse toxins from the body
and the mind. You will be guided through a cleansing sequence of supported
postures to address buildup of toxins in body that leave us feeling fatigued
and heavy. A slower pace activates the parasympathetic nervous system,
encouraging relaxation. Inversions like "legs up the wall” increase
circulation and help to drain the lymphatic system. Twisting to compress and
release internal organs, like wringing out a wet wash cloth. A sense of
lightness comes when you let go, using breath work and meditation techniques to
