About the Role
The General Manager (GM) leads the Biergarten’s daily operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while driving profitability, team leadership, and brand integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Service
- Deliver an engaging, high-energy atmosphere that excites guests and exceeds expectations.
- Build genuine guest relationships, anticipating needs and creating memorable experiences.
- Maintain the highest service, food, and beverage quality standards.
Operational Leadership
- Recruit, train, and manage front-of-house staff, ensuring top-tier hospitality.
- Implement and uphold SOPs, health codes, and safety standards.
- Oversee floor operations, ensuring smooth shifts and optimal team performance.
- Monitor and maintain inventory, par levels, and product quality.
Financial & Business Management
- Set and manage budgets, sales targets, and cost controls.
- Analyze financial data and implement strategies to maximize revenue.
- Collaborate with Marketing on promotions, events, and brand initiatives.
- Identify trends and competitor insights to stay ahead in the industry.
Leadership & Culture
- Foster a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing team.
- Lead with authenticity, energy, and motivation, ensuring staff engagement.
- Uphold The Standard’s brand values, creating a welcoming and dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant/bar management, preferably in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and guest service skills.
- Knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and inventory control.
- Ability to train, develop, and inspire a team.
- Comfortable in high-energy, high-pressure settings.
- Fluent in English; multi-lingual a plus.
Physical & Schedule Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
- Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate $ 100k-110k / Year
