Manager, Content & Social Media
We Are Seeking a Content & Social Media Manager Who Knows the Moments Worth Sharing
The Manager, Content & Social Media helps tell the story of The Standard Spa, Miami Beach as it happens. This is a hands-on role for someone who can make strong creative work, move quickly, and recognize the moments worth sharing. You’ll plan and produce content for our social channels, design assets in Canva, write copy in The Standard’s voice, and spend time on property capturing the people, programming, food, spaces, and details that make this place what it is. Some of the best moments happen outside a standard workday. You should be comfortable attending events, capturing content, and publishing live when the moment calls for it. You’ll work closely with the Brand Activations & Marketing Manager on priorities and direction. Once those are clear, we need someone who can make sound creative decisions in real time: choose the right shot, write the caption, check the details, and post with confidence.

What You’ll Do
- Plan, create, schedule, and publish content across The Standard Spa, Miami Beach’s social channels.
- Capture and edit original photo and video content on property, including at events, activations, and everyday moments.
- Cover select events live through Stories and other timely posts, sometimes during evenings or weekends.
- Design polished social graphics and other marketing assets in Canva, working within the brand’s visual identity.
- Write captions and social copy that sound like The Standard: confident, playful, culturally aware, and specific to what’s happening here.
- Turn programming calendars, restaurant news, spa offerings, and member moments into content people actually want to see.
- Work with the marketing, programming, food and beverage, spa, and membership teams to gather accurate details and spot upcoming content opportunities.
- Maintain an organized content calendar and keep assets, files, and drafts easy for the team to find.
- Monitor and engage with comments, messages, tags, and relevant trends, flagging anything that needs a response or a closer look.
- Track content performance and use what you learn to improve the next shoot, post, or campaign.
What We’re Looking For
- At least two years of experience creating content for a company or brand, with a portfolio of work you personally conceived, captured, designed, edited, and wrote.
- Strong Canva and in-app skills, and a good eye for layout, typography, composition, and brand consistency.
- Experience creating and publishing social content, including short-form video and live event coverage.
- Excellent writing and editing skills. You can adapt to an established brand voice without making every caption sound the same.
- Good judgment under time pressure. You know when a post is ready to go and when a detail needs to be checked first.
- Comfort working on site and adjusting your schedule for select evening and weekend events.
- A proactive, nimble approach. You can arrive with a plan, notice something better happening in front of you, and act on it.
- Genuine interest in hospitality, culture, food, design, wellness, and the people who bring a place to life.
