Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Implement revenue management operations, procedures, and best practices.   

  • Identify new revenue opportunities, optimise, and expand distribution partnerships. 

  • Work closely with key leaders to drive rooms and F&B revenue.   

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with all colleagues.   

  • Embed a revenue management culture.  

  • Oversee daily operations of revenue & reservations department.   

  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures.   

  • Production of the weekly forecast reports for the hotel and provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports.   

  • Formulation and implementation of yield restrictions within the CRS’ (Opera & Trust Voyager) and other channels.   

  • Analyse & prepare rate & inventory recommendations for all volume account & group business opportunities.      

  • Analyse & produce recommendations on the timing & nature of promotions & specials for rooms and F&B.   

  • Lead the preparation of the room’s annual revenue budget & annual pricing strategy.    

  • Evaluate and maintain the hotels distribution channel strategy including all on and off-line channels. 

  • Oversee the inputting and maintenance of the company’s rate offerings across all distribution channels. 

  • Manage and improve the online booking functionality of all company owned websites.  

  • Preparation of monthly & ad-hoc business reports for use by senior management and analysis of the hotel's total business levels. 

  • Provide impact analysis for all capital works. 

  • Oversee the building & maintenance of all rate codes & marketing fields within the CRS.   

  • Utilize business intelligence reports to support tactical & strategic decisions across all markets. 

  • Prepare reports & chair the weekly yield meeting & participate within the weekly groups meeting.   

  • Assist with the implementation & maintenance of an automated revenue management system.  

  • Formulate & implement the demand-based pricing strategy.  

  • Involvement in ad-hoc project management as required as part of the hotel’s management team.   

  • Effectively lead and motivate the department. 


Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent. 

  • 8 years of progressive experience in revenue management within the hospitality industry, with 3 years in a leadership or strategic role. 

  • In-depth understanding of revenue management principles, distribution channels, pricing strategies, and market dynamics. 

  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with proficiency in revenue management software and tools. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and influence key stakeholders. 

  • Proven leadership abilities, including experience in managing and developing high-performing teams. 

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and proactively to identify revenue growth opportunities. 

  • Results-oriented approach with a record of accomplishment of achieving revenue targets and KPIs. 

  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, even in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
