Director of Rooms

Responsibilities:

To strategically deliver the Hotels' goals and vision as a member of the Executive Committee and lead by example
Ensures the Hotel’s guest experience is consistently delivered from Front Office to Housekeeping.
Communicates a clear and consistent message to the Rooms Team regarding departmental goals to produce desired results.
Demonstrates leadership and management of an efficient and effective operation in which colleagues understand the key drivers of the business and are responsible for their performance
Builds colleagues' motivation and morale by empowering, training and coaching colleagues timely to improve operational and service capabilities
To set up and update divisional SOPs on a regular basis
To monitor productivity of the division and implement corrective strategies to improve productivity
To implement the business plan in the division
To apply commercial acumen and a business understanding to drive for results
Achieve the agreed financial and non-financial key performance objectives

Requirements:

Minimum Diploma/Degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management or equivalent
At least 7 years' experience in Rooms Division with 2 years in the similar capacity in the hospitality industry
Strong knowledge and experience in the front office functions of Opera or equivalent Property Management Systems and other software that is essential in managing Rooms operations and manpower
Demonstrate ability to handle complaints and challenges professionally
Strong in analytical and problem-solving skillset
Pre-opening experience is an advantage

Successful candidate will start in Mar-Apr 2024.
