Restaurant Server - Lido
The Server at Lido Bayside delivers a warm, engaging, and elevated waterfront dining experience through attentive service, strong product knowledge, and seamless execution.
Set against the backdrop of the bay, this role blends relaxed hospitality with refined service, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, cared for, and connected to The Standard experience. The Server is responsible for guiding guests through the menu, delivering food and beverages with precision, and maintaining a clean and organized section in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide attentive, engaging, and personalized service to all guests.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards.
- Describe menu items, cocktails, wine, and daily specials with confidence.
- Open and present wine and bottled beverages according to service standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and ensure a seamless, enjoyable dining experience.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned section at all times.
- Ensure wait stations are properly set and stocked according to SOPs.
- Complete all opening, running, and closing side work thoroughly.
- Enter all orders accurately into the POS system (Micros or similar).
- Handle all forms of payment accurately and responsibly.
- Review menus daily for updates, specials, and 86 items.
- Follow all service sequences and house standards consistently
- Work closely with bartenders, runners, and kitchen staff to ensure proper timing of service.
- Communicate clearly with team members regarding guest needs and order status.
- Support team operations and assist where needed to maintain flow of service.
- Maintain high standards of personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform presentation.
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- Uphold The Standard’s policies, procedures, and service expectations.
- Identify and report any operational or guest-related issues to management.
- Previous serving experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food, cocktails, wine, and beverage service.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros preferred.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow established procedures and service standards.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Professional, confident, and guest-focused demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.
