Now open in Brussels. The Standard’s latest European hotel takes up residence in the city’s Northern Quarter, two hours from London and 90 minutes from Paris. Government and commerce have long defined this neighborhood—but a new wave of design, cuisine and greenery has emerged among striking blocks of 1960s office towers. Nearly seven decades later, Quartier Nord is ready for its moment. 

Enter The Standard, Brussels. Featuring 200 rooms and suites rising 28 stories, it’s a nexus of reinvention. We’re digging deep into the city’s most underrated qualities: music, fashion, contemporary art, technology and more. Beyond waffles and art nouveau, Brussels is one of Europe’s most international cities, teeming with diplomats and ex-pats of more than 180 nationalities. That global exchange of language, culture and ideas finds a new home at The Standard. For the first time, we’ve created suites for longer-term stays (with special perks and amenities) for guests visiting Brussels for weeks or months on end. 

Double Standard brings a mash-up of American and Belgian bar food (and a top-notch beer list) to the ground floor, adjacent to our buzzing, mid-mod Lobby Bar. On the top floor, Lila29 —our rooftop restaurant & bar—  offers spectacular views and generous shared plates with a bold, Iberian twist. Food and drinks bring together locals, visitors, and business travellers, while a curated calendar of events keeps the energy high.
