HEH

HEH serves contemporary Australian in Phuket Old Town. The kitchen keeps things honest—simple ingredients, thoughtful technique, and a little play. Open since 2019, it has earned nods from the Michelin Guide in 2024 and 2025 and a place on Tatler Thailand’s 25 Best Restaurants 2025, plus a Rising Star mention in 2024. The room sits on Yaowarat Road with a minimalist look, an open kitchen, and a century-old mangosteen tree at the center. Expect standouts like charred broccoli with anchovy–miso, smoked corn tacos, and pan-fried Andaman fish with yuzu beurre blanc.

Chef Oat

Chef Oat (Nattaphon Othanawathakij) grew up in Phuket and sharpened his craft in Melbourne for nearly a decade, cooking across the city’s top rooms and major events like the Australian Open and Formula 1. He returned home to open HEH, blending Melbourne’s contemporary spirit with the bounty of the Andaman Sea. His cooking is curious and honest, equal parts comfort and adventure, which is why he is widely seen as one of Thailand’s rising culinary talents.
