Next stop, Brussels. The Standard’s next European hotel takes up residence in the city’s Northern Quarter, two hours from London and 90 minutes from Paris. Government and commerce have long defined this neighborhood—but a new wave of design, cuisine and greenery has emerged among striking blocks of 1960s office towers. Nearly seven decades later, Quartier Nord is ready for its moment. 

Enter The Standard, Brussels. Featuring 200 rooms, suites and apartments rising 28 stories, it’s a nexus of reinvention. We’re digging deep into the city’s most underrated qualities: music, fashion, contemporary art, technology and more. Beyond waffles and art nouveau, Brussels is one of Europe’s most international cities, teeming with diplomats and ex-pats of more than 180 nationalities.
