NEW YORK

"VERA LUTTER" Installation view

The Vera Lutter show of recent work that opened last week at Gagosian is definitely for New York lovers. In the early '90s Lutter transformed her apartment into a large pinhole camera to capture NYC cityscapes, and has since gone on to capture some of the world's most iconic landmarks. She's back to the city we love, but only for a limited time.

Until March 7, 2015
Hours: Tue–Sat 10-6

Hollywood Costume explores the role of costume design within cinematic storytelling. The exhibition showcases some of the most iconic costumes from the Golden Age of cinema to now, including the original ruby slippers from The Wizard of Oz (Adrian, 1939) shown with Dorothy's blue and white gingham pinafore dress. The show was first organized by the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and the Academy added more than 40 costumes to the L.A. show, which was curated by Deborah Nadoolman Landis.
