Financial Responsibility
Responsible for Sales & marketing budget. To ensure S&M Financial Strategy which is in-line with the company policies to ensure the consistent implementation of this strategy. To ensure occupancy, ARR and revenue targets are met as in the proposed annual budget.

 Comprehension: Fluent in the English language

 College degree in hospitality, marketing, or business management

 At least 5 years of work experience as DoSM / similar position.

 Provide leadership in entrepreneurial sales & marketing activities.
 Develop Commercial plans and strategies for resort to drive revpar performance and minimize CoS.
 Identify and build productive relationships with business partners.
 Develop and implement tactical pricing per geographical market as the business need asserts.
 Lead the Business Review for each property in relation to the Sales and Marketing.
 Influence the Revenue Management team of each property to implement strategies in order to increase revpar performance.
 Set, implement and monitor annual business plan goals and sales targets.
 Ensure all plans and activities lead to achieving a successful strategy.
 Lead the creation of flexible solutions to attract new and potential customers.
 Coach and be a mentor for the S & M team.
 Research, evaluate International & local trends for future business potential.
 Comply with all regional reporting requirements in the said timeframe.
 Represent the hotel at Road Shows, Trade Fairs and other management events.
 Complete sales & marketing activities.
 Determine and implement the balance of business mix into the hotel.
 Co-ordinate and produce the annual rates and contracts, with seasonality changes in mind.
 Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the Government / MOT.
 Continually analyze the best business practices for the hotel.
 Continually drive the sales, revenue teams to achieve the desired goals.
 Maintain effective communication, with regular 1-2-1 and team meetings.
 Assists in overseeing daily operations of Sales & Marketing department
 Works with SVP / VP of Revenue to create and maintain standard operating procedures
 Production of the weekly forecast reports for the property.
 Formulation and implementation of yield restrictions within the CRS’ (Opera & Trust Voyager) and other channels.
 Analyze & prepare rate & inventory recommendations for all volume account & group business opportunities.
 Analyze & produce recommendations on the timing & nature of promotions & specials.
 Assist the General Manager & Director of Revenue Management with the preparation of the annual room’s revenue budget & annual pricing strategy.
 Preparation of monthly & ad hoc business reports for use by senior management. Analyzing the hotels total business levels.
 Provide impact analysis for all capital works.
 Utilize business intelligence reports to support tactical & strategic decisions across all markets.
 Prepare reports & chair the weekly yield meeting & participate within the weekly Groups meeting
 Formulate & implement the demand based pricing strategy together with DoRM.
 Involvement in ad hoc project management as required as part of the hotels management team.
 Effectively lead and motivate the department
