Double Standard is buzzing to welcome Pecking House - the cult NYC fried chicken joint from chef Eric Huang - for an extended kitchen takeover at Double Standard, running from 31st July to 14th September.
Hailed as one of New York’s must-try food moments, Pecking House built a 10,000+ waitlist within months of launching and now it’s making a splash (in duck fat chilli oil) right here at The Standard, London.
Expect unapologetically bold flavours, deep-fried goodness, and a menu that goes way beyond your average wings. There’s the Chili Fried Chicken, slicked in spicy duck fat chili oil; a juicy Chinatown Chicken Sandwich with pork floss and smoky mayo; and sides that swing from smashed cucumbers to chicken spice fries. There’s even vegan Mapo Tofu with Avocado, because this is London after all.
In a hurry? The Chili Chicken Tenders y Chinatown Sandwich will also be available via in-room dining for all guests craving a late-night fix.
