You Had To Be There… The Standard, London's Rooftop Opening

We didn’t come to play with our first rooftop party of the summer.
With the sun shining down on The Rooftop, the shades came out… and so did the iPhone cameras. That’s no surprise though, given the incredible performance we had by Afrobeats icon, Tems, which had the entire crowd singing and swaying along.

We invited out some of the Standard friends and London tastemakers to come celebrate with us including singer-songwriter Mahalia, designers Chet Lo and A Sai Ta, journalist Yomi Adegoke, along with model Rina Lipa and many more. Our DJ setlist was equally as exciting, with Jordss, Chloe Knows, and Joe Cotch taking to the decks.

Together we all vibed out on the 11th floor sipping on some Cîroc cocktails, inspired by the flavours of Mexico. Fan favourites included Cîroc Mule Caliente, featuring vodka, jalape
ños and ginger beer. The Spicy Tommy’s Margarita was another hit flavoured with agave nectar, chilli and lime went down a treat with our mouth-watering canapés which included tacos, nachos and salchichón.

As the sun set on the roof the party continued down to Sweeties where the musical energy continued with sets from p-rallel, GuiltyBeatz and George Plant adding to the already high spirits.
