The Standard, Brussels Opens Big with Honey Dijon & Lefto

A combination of rhythm, style and late-night glamour took over The Greenhouse at The Standard, Brussels as Honey Dijon and DJ Lefto turned Friday night into an all-out opening moment.

The Standard, Brussels made its entrance the only way it knows how—with serious style, an epic soundtrack and a guest list that read like the past, present and future of fashion, art, design and culture. The vibes were immaculate, the energy was high and Brussels officially welcomed its newest cultural playground.

Friday night, the hotel’s lush ground-floor oasis—The Greenhouse—flipped from tranquil to full throttle as legendary selector Honey Dijon and Brussels’ own Lefto Early Bird lit up the decks. Honey brought the heat (and then some), spinning a kaleidoscope of house, disco, and deep vibes that had the parquet bouncing. Lefto kept things local and lively with his signature blend of jazz-laced hip-hop, global grooves and don’t-you-Shazam-that energy. Heads bobbed, glasses clinked and outfits shimmered.

The crowd brought the heat—think bold names, sharp looks and energy to match. Lennon Gallagher, Tigerlily Taylor, Layton Williams, Daniel Millar, Izzy Richmond, Connie Constance, Leo Mandella, Parisa Wilkinson, Maxim Magnus and The Flag Twins moved effortlessly through the scene. Brussels held its own, with local icons and standouts blending seamlessly with the international creative set. If you missed it, consider this your cue to keep up.

The night before Lila29—our rooftop restaurant—hosted an intimate dinner where conversations flowed like natural wine. Think panoramic city views, a menu to make your ex jealous and enough style to fill a lookbook.

It was a weekend of movement, music and modern magic. The Standard, Brussels didn’t just open—it arrived. And if opening night was any indication, Belgium’s capital is about to get a whole lot less boring.
