Written in the Stars: A Cosmic Year at The Standard, London

Star Signs & Stand-Out Moments - The Standard, London’s 2025 Zodiac Year

December 22 – January 19 | Capricorn | Perk London

Confident, considered and quietly powerful, Capricorn knows exactly what it’s doing — and does it better than anyone else.

We started the year off with discipline and tunnel vision with the help of Bahar Tafti of Perk LONDON, who exclusively curated an in-room workout to meet the needs of modern travellers - energising, restorative and adaptable.

Our in-room workout is still accessible - You Find out more here

January 20 – February 18 | Aquarius | Baranquilla Carnival Documentary with Jamz Supernova

Unpredictable and future-facing, Aquarius champions the left-of-centre — the artists you don’t know yet but won’t forget.

A true champion of the UK underground, Jamz Supernova is a London-based DJ, broadcaster and curator whose genre-fluid sound spans soul, jazz, hip-hop and future-facing club music. She hosts the weekly Global Sounds show on BBC 6 Music.

In Sweeties, Jamz Supernova hosted the launch of her first video documentary about Barranquilla Carnival in Colombia, an important folkloric celebration and one of the biggest carnivals globally.

February 19 – March 20 | Pisces | International Women’s Day with Ladies Music Pub

Dreamy, immersive and emotionally charged, Pisces moments dissolve reality — music as escapism, culture as feeling.

We hosted a weekend of programming with Ladies Music Pub to celebrate International Women’s Day. On Friday night TYSON took to the stage in Sweeties, as well as DJs Giulia, HTW, Marina and Kete Kete.

TYSON is a London-based singer and songwriter whose smooth, soulful vocals sit at the intersection of R&B, pop and electronic music. Known for her understated confidence and emotional clarity, she delivers songs that feel intimate, modern and quietly powerful.

| Feben AW25 Dinner & Performance with Jorja Smith

March 21 – April 19 | Aries | Horsegiirl

Bold, loud and first on the dancefloor, Aries energy kicks the door open and dares the room to keep up.

The embodiment of the Aries traits is the Berlin‑based electronic artist and DJ Horsegiirl, who’s galloped out of the underground and into global dance culture with her theatrical, horse‑masked persona and electrifying genre‑defying beats. From viral hits like “My Bard My Rules” to sold‑out sets at Berghain, EDC and Coachella, she blends euphoric happy hardcore, techno and pop with off‑kilter humour, cult energy and unbridled charisma.

She hosted a party in Sweeties to celebrate the success of her EP ‘V.I.P - Very Important Pony’ with fans and London family.

April 20 – May 20 | Taurus | Jumbi Rooftop Party

Luxurious without trying, Taurus sets the mood — low lights, good sound, better drinks, and no intention of leaving early.

South-East London Jumbi is a hi-fi music bar and rum-centric hangout celebrating Afro-Carribean sound, food and community. Founded by Bradley Zero (Rhythm Section) and Nathanael Williams (Colour Factory), the intimate space is built around a bespoke single-turntable setup and vinyl Library that dissolves into a dancefloor as the night goes on.

In collaboration with Jumbi we hosted our first Rooftop party with them over the Easter weekend with live performances from Anaiis and Bodur as well as DJ sets from Tash LC, Rohan Rakhit and Babylon Fox.

Restless, curious and socially fluent, Gemini thrives on crossover moments where music, art and conversation collide.

Its famed outpost on Bleecker Street offers a literary portal into the legendary designer's mind, and our London collaboration was on the same page.

The book catalogues her most memorable shots from a decade we'll never stop referencing, cross-referencing and drooling over.

In October we hosted a launch party for her new song with Chlöe Bailey in Sweeties for their song “The Nightlife”.

October 23 – November 21 | Scorpio | Saints & Sinners

Dark, magnetic and slightly dangerous, Scorpio nights pulse with intensity and linger long after the lights come up.

This Halloween, guests were invited to unleash their inner fantasy at our Halloween party, transforming Townhouse 9 into a devilish lair with red hues and smokey lasers and Sweeties into one big celestial fantasia. Heavenly clouds hung from the Sweeties ceiling; blues and purples swarmed the dreamscape and cherubs littered the room. Guests took the stairs through purgatory and down into hell where jarring red lasers filled the hellscape.

As guests descended into hell, led by Nikki Nair, whose collaborations have cemented him as one of the most boundary-pushing names in dance music, headlined an unforgettable evening alongside Ikonika and NYX, a radical drone choir, delivered an eerie, experimental vocal set within the hazy nightmare.
As the night ascended into the celestial realm of Sweeties, Lagoon Femshayma - the Prestige Pak powerhouse and history-making Boiler Room host. Curated a dreamscape line up with Drybabe, Lexii, Rabz and Sippin T.
