Party Patrol

Loud, Proud, & Unapologetically Impactful

RuPaul’s Drag Race Match Queen took center stage in the East Village for a cause that counts.

Last night, The Standard, East Village brought RuPaul’s Drag Race Match Queen magic to Cuna Bar & Lounge for a night where celebration and purpose shared the spotlight. Hosted by the ever-iconic Kandy Muse, the evening welcomed creators, fashion leaders, and community voices—from Garo Sparo to AJ Hikes—before closing with a show-stopping finale by Luxx Noir London.

Guests arrived via a pink-carpet moment fit for VIPs before making their way inside, where things only got more fabulous. Match Queen—the new RuPaul’s Drag Race mobile game—kept the night buzzing as partygoers mixed, mingled, and played between performances.

But beneath the glitz was a deeper mission: raising awareness for the ACLU Drag Defense Fund, which protects the right to self-expression and defends the LGBTQ+ community against increasing threats nationwide. At The Standard, community is core to who we are—and nights like this remind us how joy can spark meaningful change. What unfolded at Cuna Bar & Lounge wasn’t just entertainment; it was a movement stitched together with creativity, solidarity, and pride.
