The British Are Still Coming

From Julie Andrews to the Vanderpumps, the Brits just can't seem to resist California. Something about the weather maybe? Not sure. Anyway, each spring, Californians honor their British immigrants with BritWeek, a week of Anglophile-loving festivities. It kicks off this Sunday and highlights include a David Bowie retrospective, a Madhatter Tea Party with British milliner to the stars, Vivien Sheriff, a celebration of Downton Abbey, a rugby game, and a full-blown East London dance party with DJ Kissy Sell Out on The Rooftop of The Standard, Downtown LA.

DJ/producer Kissy Sell Out is known for his crazy electro productions and energetic DJ style. He hosted the hugely successful BBC Radio 1 show, The Kissy Klub, his albums always top the UK dance charts, and his Soundcloud page is the source for his widely sought after remixes. The people will be fit, the rooftop rammed, the lift working.
