The opening party of London Design Festival 2026 brought London's creative crowd to Decimo for an evening of cocktails, conversation and panoramic views.
There are few better vantage points from which to celebrate London's creative spirit than Decimo. Perched above King's Cross, the restaurant welcomed designers, artists, tastemakers and cultural figures for an evening of new connections, shared inspiration and creative exchange, bringing together the community at the heart of London Design Festival.
Now in its 24th edition, London Design Festival once again transforms the city into a stage for creativity, connecting emerging voices with established names across installations, exhibitions, talks and special projects. Before a week of discoveries unfolded across London's design districts, the community gathered at Decimo for an opening-night celebration that felt distinctly London.
Among those in attendance were Gaia Wise, Princess Julia, Wilfred Cisse, Morgan Lake, Brandon Nembhard, Anderson Asteclines, and LDF Director Ben Evans, who spent the evening taking in the skyline, catching up with friends and raising a Belvedere cocktail to the week ahead.
With design, fashion, art and culture colliding under one roof, the evening set the tone for the festival's return and offered a fitting start to one of the most anticipated moments in London's creative calendar.

Beyond the opening night celebrations, The Standard, London also partnered with LDF on two special episodes of Sometimes Radio: Emerging London, a new series spotlighting the voices shaping London's next generation of design. Hosted by Rhiarna Dhaliwal, the episodes feature architect and writer Shawn Adams, co-founder of POoR Collective, and artist and designer Henry Svendsen, exploring the ideas, experiences and creative practices influencing contemporary design in the city today.
