Friday, October 6th
David Gibson Quartet
Trombonist David Gibson has enjoyed a varied music career that is deeply rooted in the genres of jazz and funk. While reared in Oklahoma, Gibson’s musical journey steered him to New York City. Jazz luminary Curtis Fuller once said about Gibson: “Out of all the young players I hear in music today, David is one of the very few who speaks the language of jazz.”

Saturday, October 7th
Endea Owens Trio
A Detroit native, Endea Owens is a vibrant up-and-coming bassist. She has been mentored by the likes of Marcus Belgrave, Rodney Whitaker, and Marion Hayden and has worked with hip-hop group The Blat Pack. As a recent graduate of Michigan State University, Endea has had the opportunity to do music exchange programs with Cuba's Colegio San Geronimo and Trinidad's University of Trinidad and Tobago.

Marc Devine Duo
Marc Devine moved to New York in 2009 after establishing himself on the forefront of the Jazz scene in Austin, Texas. In New York, Marc is making a name for himself as hard swingin’ pianist rooted in the traditions of bebop and swing.

Friday, October 13th
Emanuele Cisi Quartet
Born in Torino, Italy in 1964, self-taught musician Emanuele Cisi is one of the most representative voices of tenor saxophone in today’s international jazz scene. His unique tone, deep knowledge of the tradition, and personal taste for composition have became a landmark for jazz lovers. Since 2013, he conceived and promoted a collaboration between the Conservatory of Torino and the Juilliard Jazz School of New York through workshops, concerts, and students exchanges. He was voted Jazzit Magazine's Best Italian Tenor Saxophone Player in 2016.

Jon Davis Trio
Pianist and composer Jon Davis has been performing and touring with many of the finest jazz musicians around the world for more than 25 years, and has appeared on over 50 recordings. Although perhaps still most widely known for his association with the legendary bassist Jaco Pastorius, Davis has shown a rare versatility with work that ranges from solo to big band. He has performed with such artists as the John Handy Quartet, Johnny Coles, Buddy Montgomery, as well as jazz legends Joe Henderson, Milt Jackson, and Stan Getz.

James Weidman's Aperturistic Trio
James Weidman is one of the most versatile pianists in the world of music. He has performed with the likes of Abbey Lincoln and Joe Lovano, and plays classical and atonal music. With a player as talented as Weidman, it's no wonder the press used terms such as "unfailingly lyrical," "convivially assertive," and "exquisite" to describe him.

Saturday, October 21st
Dario Boente Trio
Immersed in the culture of tango and jazz, Argentine pianist and composer Dario Boente is a musician who is equally at home performing romantic Argentine and jazz compositions on a grand piano as he is programming world-beat electronica. Since moving to NYC in 1999, Dario has released ten albums and compilations and worked with world-class jazz musicians such as Antonio Sanchez, Ronny Jordan, and Fernando Otero, and DJs such as Louie Vega and Kerri Chandler. 

Friday, October 27th
Ryo Sasaki Quartet
Born in Tokyo, Ryo Sasaki started playing trumpet at the age of 15. In the late '90s, he attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. He studied privately with Darren Barrett, Tiger Okoshi, and Charlie Lewis, before returning to Tokyo where he played professionally and taught trumpet. He moved to New York in 2006 and has played many venues, including The Blue Note, St Nick's Pub, Minton's Playhouse, and the Cotton club.
