Far from the neon nights and crowded shores, Esmé reimagines Pattaya through an elevated lens — from its signature sundown rituals to moments of soul, culture, and shoreline. The launch night captured that effortless blend of Mexico’s coastal cantina culture and the rhythm of the Thai coast — an intimate collision of music, food, drinks, and play, where media, creatives, and The Standard family came together to celebrate a new era for the shore.
Behind the decks, DJ Pam Anantr and DJ Chucheewa brought two distinct yet perfectly balanced energies to Esmé. Pam, a Bangkok-based selector and Mixmag Asia “Artist to Watch 2024,” blends disco, boogie, and house with soulful, uplifting grooves, having captivated audiences across Asia and Europe alongside icons like Soichi Terada. Chucheewa, a singer-songwriter, producer, and DJ, layers dreamy vocals over sleek, emotional house, taking listeners from intimate moments to euphoric highs, with performances spanning Bangkok’s underground to Berlin’s Panorama Bar. Together, they transformed Esmé into a night of rhythm and radiance — a soundscape that reflected The Standard’s unmistakable energy: stylish, playful, and alive.
Setting the mood was a custom light installation developed in collaboration with Kor Bor Vor, a visionary Thai artist celebrated across Asia for his experimental use of light and shadow. Together, they transformed Esmé into a living canvas — a luminous landscape that sparked conversation, connection, and a sense of discovery.
And because this is Pattaya — and The Standard loves a good story — the night paid homage to the city’s most iconic legacy: Tiffany. The unforgettable cabaret spirit that once defined Pattaya’s nightlife returned to the stage in full diva glory — sequins, feathers, and soul.
Notable guests from Thailand’s design, fashion, and entertainment scenes — including Metinee Kingpayome, Pangina Heals, Belle Kemisara, Suntur, Gongkan, Fah Chak, Fern Issaree, Pea Sarit, Primrose Chindavanich, Yu Masui and Eric Tobua — joined the night, bringing their signature flair to the beachfront celebration. Between sunset cocktails and surprise performances, it was that unmistakable Standard mix of effortless cool and pure energy.
As the night faded into a sea of sound and laughter, one thing was clear: Esmé isn’t just a beach club — it’s Pattaya, reimagined.
We’re making new waves. Standard style.
