A Few Things To Do This Holiday Weekend

NEW YORK

Julie, Grindavik, Iceland by Skye Parrott

Skye Parrott began taking photographs at age 17, by the time she was in her 20s she was managing Nan Goldin's studio in Paris. In 2007, Skye co-founded (that little magazine we all love) Dossier Journal. Along with the zine she consults as a curator and creative director, and she's still taking photographs. Her newest show, Kinds of Water, opening at Dossier Outpost, explores water as the connecting thread to many ideas; a child’s tears on a cloudy beach in Maine or water beneath the skin of an apple.
