The Sticky Stuff: A Motherhood Archive

Spread the Jelly presented The Sticky Stuff: A Motherhood Archive, a public exhibition at The Standard, East Village was recently on view from May 28 - 31. Founded by Lauren Levinger and Amrit Tietz, Spread the Jelly is a media company dedicated to exploring the many dimensions of motherhood.

For the exhibition, The Private Dining Room was transformed into an immersive archive featuring a curated collection of rare, special, out-of-print, and first-edition materials that examined the multifaceted realities of motherhood, both past and present.

Programming continued on May 30 with a multilingual storytime hosted by mothers in collaboration with Spiral Books, followed by a vintage kids’ market presented alongside Cosmo and Hunter & Gather.

The exhibition brought together friends, families, and  mothers to celebrate the launch of Spread the Jelly’s Motherhood Archive at The Standard, East Village.
