New York turned out in force Tuesday night as The Standard and Eddie Huang officially launched our global partnership with a party in BOOM at The Standard, High Line.
Toasting his new book, Come Undone, Huang played host to a crowd that reflected the city’s creative currents—including Ronny Chieng, West Wilson, Stretch Armstrong, Vashtie, Lawrence Schlossman, Timo Weiland, Dominique Fung, Gabriel Hendifar, Olivia Cheng, Calvin Eng, Charles Raben, Joanna Gong, Chris Echevarria, Juhnn Stambaugh, Shia Blanca and more.
Against a backdrop of post-Knicks-victory optimism and panoramic views, guests mixed, mingled, and put the new Come Undone Deck—a conversation card game we created with Eddie—to the test. With Vashtie behind the decks, the room quickly settled into exactly the kind of spontaneous, unfiltered conversation we were hoping to start.
