The British luxury house officially kicked off its takeover of The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon at The Parlor with a guest list that spanned fashion, music, film, and digital culture from across Asia, proving once again that when Bangkok throws a party, people show up.
Leading the crowd was Burberry Brand Ambassador Bright Vachirawit, who seemed right at home playing host in his hometown.
"I've actually been waiting for Burberry to host an event in Thailand for a while now," he shared with Harper's Bazaar Thailand. "It's always nice to play host and show people just how beautiful Bangkok is and how much fun the city can be. I'm really happy that Burberry decided to bring this event here."
The guest list read like a who's who of Asian pop culture. Korean superstar Hwasa made an appearance alongside Lee Hojung, Bailey and Woochan of AllDay Project, while Japan was represented by actor Nijiro Murakami, model Rola, actor-model Shoma Nagumo and content creator Yamato.
Closer to home, Thai actors Off Jumpol, Tate Myron, Meen Nichakoon and rapper Milli joined a stylish mix of creatives and industry insiders. The regional contingent continued with Vietnamese singer-songwriter Quang Hùng MasterD, Singaporean musician Benjamin Kheng, and rapper Yung Raja, alongside creators and cultural tastemakers such as Jane Lau, Molly Chiang, and many more from across Asia, turning the gathering into less of a fashion launch and more of a cross-cultural summit.
And then came the music.
As twilight gave way to night, acclaimed Thai singer-songwriter Atom Chanakan took the stage, delivering a live performance that shifted the evening from cocktail hour to celebration.
Guests spent the night between cocktails, catch-ups, and photo moments at The Parlor, while also heading up to the pool deck to catch Burberry’s yellow takeover up close. A custom Burberry photo booth kept the cameras busy throughout the evening.
The best parties don't just launch collaborations—they create moments people talk about long after the lights come up.
If the opening night was any indication, Burberry's takeover of The Standard isn't just a fashion partnership. It's set to become one of Bangkok's defining cultural moments of the season.
