Grow Your Own Mushrooms with Smallhold
Sat. Feb. 18, 3:30 - 5 p.m.
Meet our friends at Smallhold for a workshop where you’ll learn everything you need to know about growing culinary mushrooms at home using a DIY bucket, AKA a "Mushbucket". You’ll be outfitted with all of the materials to start growing after a hands-on demonstration led by Smallhold’s Head of Research & Development, Louis Vassar Semanchik. You’ll learn how substrate is produced, how mushrooms work, a little of what goes into setting up a full scale urban mushroom farm - and more!

Smallhold Mushbuckets will be drilled and filled with mushroom substrate (SMS) and ready for you to take home and decorate (our buckets wanna be snazzed up). All you have to do is mist the holes a few times a day!
