Sesame Projects
Sesame Projects is a New York based creative consultancy driven by community and culture, specializing in brand strategy and marketing through community focused events and partnerships.
Sesame Projects started its first Sesame Market event at The Standard, East Village in the Spring of 2021 to support friends and community members who did not have access to traditional retail storefronts. Through Sesame Market, these creators and entrepreneurs are able to share their craft in unique spaces.
Sesame Market is always paired with fundraising efforts to support local, community focused organizations such as The W.O.W. Project, Meals for Unity, Deep Routes, Apex For Youth, etc. Through their hit SPIN-2-WIN Raffle activation, all participating vendors and partners donate prizes that can be won throughout the event with a minimum $10 donation towards a local organization.
Last fall, Sesame Projects collaborated with photographer/director Bon Duke (Art+Commerce) and Saigon-born, Brooklyn-based artist Khôi Bảo Phạm to bring Sesame Studio to Sesame Market at the famed South Street Seaport. Sesame Studio is a glam shoot photo studio activation raising funds for local organizations as well. Each session starts at $10 with 100% of the proceeds going to community fundraising.
