The Standard, London Turns Three!

A boardroom rave, a performance from Shygirl and a bright pink shag cake, yesterday will go down in Standard history.

Last night we celebrated The Standard, London turning 3 years old in the best way possible. For the first time, we partied across 3 different floors, from Sweeties to Townhouse 9 and Townhouse 8. Specially-curated cocktails for the evening came from CampariAperolDon Julio Margaritas, Casamigos Palomas, and CIROC Mule Calientes flowed.

Some of London’s most incredible DJ’s ( + our best of pals) kept the vibes rolling, including Sipping T, Kemarr, Mowalola, Jaime Winston and Dennis Bovell. Genre-blending artist of the moment, Shygirl, had everyone one their feet for her iconic performance at Sweeties underneath a cloud of balloons and the legendary mirror ball. Our meeting space Townhouse 9 had a makeover and was transformed into a boardroom rave – with an old-school photocopier on standby, GutteRing on the decks, bringing an art school energy. Townhouse 8 had a houseparty feel, where you could lounge on the sofas, grab a drink or catch a breath on the terrace looking onto St Pancras.

There’s no better way to party than with family and friends. In attendance was some of those we have loved working with since opening in 2019, including Benji B, Lulu Kennedy, Amelia Dimoldenberg, Julia Hobbs, Chet Lo and many others.

Cheers to three years of fun, events, community and more. This one was for you!
