SUMMARY OF INTERNSHIP:
Assist the General Housekeeper in his daily tasks and operationally direct the chambermaids.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the proper execution of all daily cleaning tasks
- Monitor the cleanliness of the various areas of the hotel
- Be responsible for the distribution of tasks (planning)
- Inform the technical department of any malfunctions or problems observed in the hotel
- Manage laundry, linen and hospitality samples stocks
- Prepare all necessary products such as equipment and linen
- Check the correct use of cleaning products and equipment
- Work in collaboration with reception to handle complaints, resolve customer problems, pass on information and provide necessary service
- Check rooms and ensure they meet our standards
- Ensure communication between the General Manager and the cleaning staff
- Take part in cleaning activities if necessary
