World Oceans Day

World Oceans Day

The ocean blesses our island with blissful views—and it’s time to show her some love. Dive into World Oceans Day with coral planting, talks by celebrated marine biologists, house reef cleaning, and more.

June 7
Local Marine Biologist – will be invited to have a marine biologist presentation talking about our famous UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hanifaru Bay and its marine ecosystem
Carpe Diem (Standard Maldives Dive Center) – will conduct a presentation wherein we talk about our own house reef, its eco system, and how guests can help protect its natural beauty while staying with us.
