The Standard, Hua Hin is looking for experienced candidates for the position of Senior Sales Manager for groups and MICE business segment. The position reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing.

Job Summary

The Senior Sales Manager is accountable for proactively soliciting and managing sales opportunities in line with the annual business development and sales plan, and to achieve/exceed budget in executing the sales strategy of the Hotel. Generate new accounts and building relationship within assigned segments. Provide sufficient leads to achieve objectives and goals

  

Skills and Knowledge

·         Thai nationality only

·         Bachelor's or master’s degree in or related major

·         Minimum of 5 years in Sales management experience in a similar capacity preferably in a midscale class environment or related professional area

·         Preferably with Hotel Brand Background

·         Critical strategic thinking, strong analytical skills

·         Being good business partners to support strong operation teams

·         Monitor competitors’ rate strategy, account penetration and marketing activities to maintain a competitive edge

·         Solicit new and existing corporate/MICE group accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.

·         Up-sell, cross-sell and promote Hotel facilities & services at every available opportunity in order to maximize sales revenue

·         Achieve daily and monthly targeted number of sales activities with effectiveness

·         Good presentation skills

·         Have good communication skills in written and spoken English

·         Positive attitude toward challenges and the drive to excel and mature with excellent leadership and management skill

·         Outgoing personally lively entrepreneur and autonomous

·         Highly motivated, pro-active in problem solving and result oriented

·         Able to travel to property as required and necessary
