Half Moon Sounds Off for Black History Month

LET'S MOVE
No one is doing it like Half Moon. The Brooklyn-based radio studio, founded by Surf Allah, turns it up 24/7 with beats from their massive network of DJs, artists, producers and tastemakers, who deliver impeccable sets from all types of genres. The studio features progressive, forward-thinking and innovative sound makers, that both reinvent and reshape what already exists in the music industry, and pioneer new sounds, experimental production, and category-defying creations. Half Moon celebrates and amplifies the types of music that originated within Black culture, like Detroit techno, Jersey club, and Ballroom, that serve as the foundation and inspiration for countless artists topping the charts today.

Throughout the month of February, Half Moon and The Standard are sounding off for Black History Month with weekly drops of all different Black music genres, created by Black DJs with different stories, side hustles, and hopes for the days we can all dance together again.

Stay posted every Friday below for their two-hour sets, and exclusive interviews with the DJs.
