Get ready for mouth-watering dishes and an immersive dining experience where you get to speak to chefs, foodies and friends of The Standard.

The Standard, London opens its doors to an ever-changing line-up of talented guest chefs for our new dinner party series, Dinner with Friends. Get ready for mouth-watering dishes and an immersive dining experience where you get to speak to chefs, fellow foodies and friends of The Standard.

On the last Thursday of every month, we welcome some of the best chefs London has to offer to take our attendees on a rare culinary journey. During the evening, our Guest Chefs cook, entertain, pair wine and cocktails with their specially-curated menu created especially for the night.

The dinner features a new guest chef every evening and is hosted in alternative settings across the hotel -- including Decimo, Sweeties, and the Isla Terrace to name a few. Each chef’s one-off menu gives an insight into their personal philosophy towards food and ingredients. Tickets for the evening covers the costs of the night including an aperitif, wine all-night-long and an extensive three-course meal with the chef on-hand to talk through the best bits. The night is intimate, with a limited number of tickets available. Expect to meet new friends, experience new flavours with our unique musical programming keeping the vibrations high!

Kicking off the Dinner with Friends series was Stevie Parle who in March collaborated with Decimo’s very own executive chef Pete Sanchez-Iglesias. Stevie began his culinary journey at the iconic The River Café before heading to the Spotted Pig in New York. Stevie brought his distinctively laid-back, farm-to-table approach to the first Dinner with Friends. Wine pairings came from long-time friend of The Standard Luca Dusi, of Passione Vino.

Our line-up is an exciting one, with our next Dinner with Friends being hosted by chefs Alex Keys and Hector Henderson of East London’s beloved Rochelle Canteen. Together on 28th April they will take over one of the spaces at The Standard. Their menu is sure to champion the very best produce Britain has to, creatively used for their unique take on European cuisine. The future line-up includes the likes of Imogen Davis and Ivan Tisdall-Downes of Native.

Get your tickets now. Note: this is a very limited event and tickets go fast!
