Run With It: Where the City Sets the Pace

On 22 February 2026, we ran — not for medals or content, but for love, for luck, and for the city. This edition of Run With It teamed up with our friends at @Monster.Run BKK and was powered by Amazeone Gadgets. Valentine’s energy met Chinese New Year momentum, and the route reflected it: a deliberate 10K to Leng Noei Yi Temple, because if you’re going to put in the miles, you might as well make a wish along the way.

We kicked off in front of Mott 32, where a lion dance set the tone — drums cutting through the morning air, red and gold flashing against glass and steel — before 160 runners moved out together into the streets.

Different paces, same direction.

Running clubs are having a moment in Bangkok, and we’re here for it. At The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon, we’ve opened our space to the city’s growing running culture — not just as a backdrop, but as a meeting point, a starting line, and a place to land after the miles are done.

A city run cuts through what cars ignore, revealing hidden corners, morning incense, and streets before the rush. Bangkok feels different when you move through it.

Monster Run BKK, friends of The Standard, don’t do casual jogs. They’re structured and performance-focused, with training that starts at 10K and stretches to 15K and beyond — from marathon prep to hybrid conditioning and trail sessions. They build runners who want progress, not just participation.

So mapping a route to a temple during Chinese New Year wasn’t random. It was deliberate. At Leng Noei Yi, incense burned and wishes were made — some for love, some for speed, some for clarity — before the group turned back toward the skyline and finished where they began.

Back at The Standard, The Parlor shifted into recovery mode as sneakers loosened, drinks appeared, and conversations stretched. That post-run clarity lingered — the kind that makes you sign up again before your legs fully recover.

Run With It keeps evolving — sweat first, social after.

We’ll save you a spot.
