Adult Storytelling with Global Generation
Free Entry with Dice link, £5 suggested donationGlobal Generation is a London-based educational charity that transforms disused urban spaces into vibrant community gardens, helping people of all ages reconnect with nature. Through hands-on activities like food growing, carpentry, storytelling and reflective learning, they empower young people and equip them with different skills. Their work promotes ecological awareness, self-confidence and social cohesion while building practical skills and promoting sustainable communities.
The Trussell Trust is a UK-wide anti-poverty charity that supports a network of more than 1,400 food banks. They provide emergency food parcels and practical support to people in crisis, while also campaigning for systemic change so that no one needs a food bank to survive. Their longer-term goal is to tackle the root causes of hunger, emphasising that poverty is not just a food problem but an income problem.
Choose Love is a UK-based humanitarian charity focused on supporting refugees and displaced people around the world. They raise money for frontline partners to provide everything from emergency aid—like search & rescue boats, food and warm clothes—to long-term support such as legal advice, education and mental health services. Their model also includes a Choose Love shop, where supporters can buy real life-saving items like firewood or hygiene kits, which are then sent directly to displaced communities.
