The FB Coordinator oversees event coordination, communication between departments, staffing, ordering, event delivery, and reporting. This role requires professionalism, discretion, precision, and adherence to company policies. Responsibilities also include creating and approving BEOs, managing orders, maintaining records, and assisting in event planning.

Your Role:

As an FB Coordinator, you'll collaborate with our FB department and sales and marketing teams. Serving as the initial point of contact for guests, you'll handle booking inquiries via phone, email or online platforms. Responsibilities include recording guest needs, providing information on rooms, restaurants, bars, and group bookings, and identifying selling opportunities. You'll create exceptional experiences, ensuring guests are delighted and surprised in Hua Hin, making their visit anything but standard.

Most importantly, you'll ensure guests feel welcome at The Standard and in our vibrant city. You must be social, upbeat, friendly, confident under pressure, excel in a high-energy environment, efficiently manage administrative tasks, and build genuine relationships.

Skills needed

·         Experience as a Restaurant Reservations Executive or Host/Hostess, engaging with guests from diverse backgrounds, ideally in the boutique hotel sector.

·         Highly social, motivated, proactive, professional and positive attitude in all interactions

·         Well organized with documents work

·         Familiar with TMS, Okkami, Futurelog, all Microsoft tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, powerpoint); training provided.

·         English speaking and writing is essential; additional languages are a plus.

·         Flexibility in working hours, including shifts and weekends, is required.
