Uniform, Linen & Laundry Attendant

Duties & Responsibilities:

·       To plan and manage the workstation of laundry/linen & uniform room in a systematic manner.

·       Keep records of in/out of linens & uniform daily.

·       To ensure the linens that returned from vendor is equally distributed to the floor pantries.

·       To segregate and sort out linens that are soiled and damaged and record for inventory purpose.

·       To ensure all uniforms are correctly distributed to the uniformed colleagues.

·       Maintain an accurate record for uniforms issuance to the colleagues.

·       Manage the uniforms based on different requirement needs.

·       To check for damage or torn uniforms and arrange for repair if required.

·       To check daily for any guest laundry every morning by checking thru every guest floors.

·       Ensure all guest laundry will be picked up and proper recording to be in place.

·       All pieces of guest garments need to be inspected to ensure it is clean and not damaged when returning to guest.

·       Ensure all guest laundry will be returned to guest within the stipulated time.

·       Quality checks to be done occasionally for linens & uniforms for quality assurance.

·       Ad hoc task as assigned from time to time based on operational needs.

 

Requirements:

·       Minimum ‘O’ Levels or equivalent

·       Good attention to details and organising skills

·       Flexibility and adaptable to changes

·       Some computer skills are preferred.

·       Able to do simple sewing and alteration is preferred.

·       A good team player and able to work with every personal in the hotel
