Fresh from Milan Design Week (peep the install here), Chasing the Sun lands in New York, transforming The Garden at The Standard, East Village into an immersive celebration of joy, optimism, and the art of gathering.

Inspired by British-Nigerian artist and designer Yinka Ilori, renowned as the "Architect of Joy," the experience brings his bold use of color and storytelling to New York, creating a vibrant world where everyday moments become something extraordinary. Take a peek at Ilori's inspiration behind Chasing the Sun by Veuve Clicquot here.

For the season, The Garden is reimagined as a sunny destination for long afternoons and golden-hour aperitivos, where playful design meets champagne and an all-day menu of summer favorites. Sip Veuve Clicquot by the glass or bottle, enjoy seasonal cocktails and shareable plates, and settle into a space designed to celebrate the simple pleasure of chasing the sun.

The East Village residency officially launches with a special sunset celebration on Saturday, June 20th, featuring a live DJ and an energetic soundtrack to the season.

Open to hotel guests and the public alike, Chasing The Sun welcomes reservations and walk-ins for afternoons that effortlessly stretch into evenings through Sunday, August 9th.
