New York - High Line, NYC Assistant Reservations Manager (Temporary)

      We’re looking for an Assistant Reservations Manager that is responsible for assisting the Associate Regional Director of Revenue and team with running our in-house reservations department. This is a temporary full-time position, available immediately.

      Our Ideal Candidate:

      • Has an upbeat personality while interacting with our guests and team members
      • Has strong communication skills
      • Has prior work experience in a related field (strong Opera skills a BIG plus!)
      • Promotes team work and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments

      Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Daily supervision of Reservations department/team
      • Analysis of revenue trends, ability to react and anticipate hotel needs based on current trends/rates
      • Oversee all in-house bookings
      • Oversee PBX system

      Qualifications & Requirements

      Essential:

      1.     College Degree preferred

      2.     Great analytical skills, advanced Excel skills required

      3.     Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally

      4.     Familiarity with Opera 

      5.     Strong organization, customer service, and team leadership qualities

      6.     Excellent communication/interpersonal skills

      7.     Ability to:

      • perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
      • prioritize and organize
      • be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolve problems using good judgement
      • follow directions thoroughly
      • understand guest’s service needs
      • work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
      • work with minimal supervision
