New York - High Line, NYC Marketing Associate

      Do you have what it takes?

      We’re looking for a Marketing Associate that is responsible for assisting the Regional Director of Marketing and team with updating online content, including all social media sites, The Standard Hotel website and local campaigns. Manage booking and execution of all photo shoots and sending internal communication/updates to Intranet. The role also involves curating and cultivating partnerships and managing programming events.

      • Has prior work experience in a related field
      • Promotes team work and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments. 
      • Has understanding of graphic design programs – Photoshop & InDesign
      • Has experience with social media management

      Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Marketing Tasks: 
        • Plan, set-up, and coordinate in-house photo/film shoots
        • Update content via CMS on the Standard Hotels website and 3rd party sites
        • Sponsorship EffortsCoordinate donation requests, based on history and level of appropriateness
        • Provide needed materials (logos, images, descriptions) to select affiliated
        • Press Dissemination

      • Daily press monitor – Open/read through clips reviewed from PR office, organize print-outs and hard clips into Standard New York Press folders
      • Maintain and update press library for existing and developing projects
      • Creation of monthly programing recaps + big press initiatives
      • Collaboration/Sponsorship Efforts: new partners, execution, etc.
      • Standard Sponsored Events: Programming, invites, + RSVP tracking, Communication & Production
        • Management of happenings posts and upkeep of specials or property listings.
        • Work with Marketing Manager to coordinate digital marketing and PPC spends. Maintains monthly budget.

      • Administrative
      • Programming budget tracking
      • Contribution & maintenance of SIM’s Big Ideas document & quarterly goals
      • Social Media
        • Twitter (constant monitoring and responding to tweets, promote events)
        • Facebook/Standard Culture/Foursquare: content update

      Qualifications & Requirements


      1.     College Degree.

      2.     Compute accurate mathematical calculations.

      3.     Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.

      4.     Ability to:
